New Certification Test: Informix 11.50 Application Developer

IBM has released a new certification test for Informix that is focused on Application Development:

Working through the new IBM Redbook IBM Informix Developer's Handbook is probably a good preparation for the new certification test.

While I appreciate the new offering, they don't fix the basic problem: The lack of visibility and product awareness in the market for Informix !

IBM veranstaltet ein dreitägiges Bootcamp unter dem Motto: Entdecken Sie das neue Gesicht von Informix.

Das Bootcamp findet vom 28-30.09.2010 in Frankfurt/Main von jeweils 10:00-17:00 Uhr statt und richtet sich an ISV's, bestehende und neue Informix Anwender.

Another one of those "hype generating" IBM customer success stories.

Unfortunately not a new customer. It is one of those many loyal Informix customers that is 100% convinced from the Informix technology since many many years:

IBM, when will you start educating your sales force so that we will see NEW customers that bought Informix AFTER your buyout in 2001 ?

I just received the latest edition of the IIUG Insider newsletter. It contains harsh criticism addressed at IBM:
