Informix Chat with the Lab - January Events

In January there will be two Informix Chat with the Lab events. The first one is a repetition of an event from October 2011. The event discusses the advantages of Informix as backend for business software in conjunction with Genero.

Two notes to IBM:

1)
Is there no other software vendor left that bets on Informix and is willing to talk about it ?

2)
Informix voted#1 in customer satisfaction is now about 3 years ago. VendorRate - the company that created the opinion poll - seems to have gone, at least the website doesn't exist aynmore for about 2 years or so. But IBM

Aller guten Dinge sind 3: Dreimal Informix Workshop in Frankfurt

Auch in 2012 bietet die IBM wieder kostenlose Workshops rund um das Thema INFORMIX an. Den Anfang macht die Banken-Metropole Frankfurt wo gleich drei Informix-Workshops im Monat März stattfinden. Zur Zeit ist von IBM noch kein Anmelde-Link verfügbar. Sobald die Anmeldeseiten von IBM freigeschaltet sind, erhalten Sie hier auf der Informix Zone den entsprechenden Link:

IIUG Conference 2012

As you might have already heard the location for the next IIUG conference in 2012 (April 22-25) has moved from Kansas to San Diego (California). I believe that the new location will attract even more people.

Informix Workshops der IBM

Die IBM bietet im November zwei kostenlose Workshops zum Thema Informix an. Der 1. Workshop geht über zwei Tage und behandelt das Thema Informix Ultimate Warehouse Edition sowie Informix Warehouse Accelerator.

Der 2. Workshop umfasst einen Tag und beleuchtet die Informix Zeitreihen-Datenbanktechnologie (Informix Timeseries).

Beide Workshops finden in der IBM Niederlassung Düsseldorf statt.
