Upcoming Informix Books

A new (german) Informix book is going to hit the road in June 2008. It will be published as part of the popular schnell+kompakt (fast+compact) series by entwickler.press.

The book covers IDS 11 - including Cheetah2 functionality - from an administrator's and developer's point of view. It is written by Informix fellow Peter Ritter - a great expert and former developer of IDS at Informix - and myself. An english translation is planned, but this has not been finally decided yet. The Informix Zone will keep you informed about that.

Another interesting Informix book is already sitting in the starting blocks. Administering IDS - Building the Foundation is written by IBM Informix Expert Carlton Doe:
