High-Availability Data Replication (HDR) and Backup and Restore (BAR) 
are long-established components of the IDS engine which are both robust 
and reliable. Both of these components have been enhanced in the new 
version of the engine, which is IDS 11. This discussion will cover the 
following topics in depth: HDR Encryption, Index Page Logging, 
Global Temp Table Logging, Parallelized Whole System Backups, Ordering 
of Dbspaces, Backup to Directories, and Continuous Log Restore.
