Coming soon: Python corner

Dear Reader:
Please allow me to introduce myself. In real life, I am Carsten Haese, and my "pythonfan" moniker is a clear indication of my favorite programming language. I am also the current maintainer of the InformixDB module that allows you to develop Informix applications in Python.
I've been kicking around the idea of writing a blog on Python and Informix for a while, but I never got motivated enough to find the necessary hosting. Now that Eric has started the Informix Zone, I decided this would be a good platform to build on. Thanks, Eric.
So, this post serves mostly as an introduction and a promise of things to come. It's my "note to self" that will motivate me to invest some of my precious spare time to actually write a series of articles on the powerful combination of Python and Informix.
This letter is also an invitation to you to request topics. I have some ideas in mind already, but I'm definitely open to suggestions, so please feel free to leave comments or contact me about things you'd like me to cover.
Until next time,
Carsten "pythonfan" Haese.
