The Informix Zone has been upgraded from the old Drupal version 4.73 to the latest stable Drupal production release 6.10.

I upgraded my (small) company website http://www.herber-consulting.de before touching this website. That upgrade was fine. But upgrading The Informix Zone took me about one day as there are many more modules involved. They all have to be upgraded separately. However I learned a lot about the Drupal upgrade process during that day :-)

Drupal is an amazing Open Source CMS with a large and very active development community. Version 7 is planned to be released at the end of 2009. You can learn more about Drupal here (tutorial) and here (QuickTime video).
