In case you haven't noticed it, Informix - a product of IBM - has once again being among the top rated "vendors" in Q2/2009 in the popular performance ratings offered by VendorRate:

“Meanwhile, IBM Informix was among the top rated vendors for the fourth

This is a great success and reflects the high quality of the IBM Informix Support as well as the excellent technology of IDS.

If I would be working for IBM Marketing/Press, I would immediately formulate a nice press release and distribute this excellent result thru all available online channels. And if there would be some marketing dollars left, I would create a clever advertisement that emphasizes this exceptional customer satisfaction. A highly pleased customer base is the best marketing template you can get, isn't it ?

So IBM Press/Marketing, why don't you get your ass up and promote those excellent results and begin to create some product awareness for IDS in the marketplace ?
