I just discovered an interesting Informix focused blog and would like to share it with you. The blog has been created by a Brazilian guy called Cesar Inacio Martins. The blog content is written in Portuguese. At the upper right side of the blog you will see some country flags. Just click the one you prefer and the blog content will be shown in your desired language through Google Translate. This works surprisingly well most of the time :-)

BTW, I discovered the blog while analyzing my website traffic through Google Analytics. Google Analytics and the Google Webmaster Tools are impressive tools for website and search engine optimization. Best of all: They are free ! That is ideal for a small company like mine. However after recognizing how well those tools work in a real life scenario (production), I would even be willing to pay money for them.

Just thinking about how many more fans Informix could have, if IBM would provide a cost free (resource limited) version of IDS that could be used for production environments like they do with the DB2 Express Community Edition (:-
