My friend Jean-Georges Perrin - owner of GreenIvory - has developed the first iPhone application for Informix adminstrators. The application provides information about certain Informix key commands from version 7.31 thru 11.70.

IBM has enhanced the IDS Information Center. It is no long a "one-way street". Every registered user is now able to rate topics in the Information Center or write comments. It is more a kind of collaboration tool now. Not as open as a traditional Wiki but at least you can:

• Rate topics
• Comment on an entire topic or selected text within the topic
• Reply to comments
• Delete your comments
• Subscribe to pages or the entire site, to be notified of new comments

As a developer, DBA and consultant, I know what a nightmare it is to walk into a site without being able to get your head around the data structures in place. I've started to evaluate SQLSpec, and so far it looks pretty good.
